Current Status on Various AI Tools

To assist with tool selection, we maintain a registry of AI applications categorized by their status, ensuring you stay informed on data privacy and pedagogical efficacy. The Approved tools are for JCCC accounts ONLY when you are logged in with your JCCC or Stumail accounts. Personal account use, while not strictly prohibited for public data, is NOT to be used with private or secured data.

Zoom AI Companion Approved Safe for use when logged into JCCC account. JCCC is covered by our enterprise data protection agreements. Student data and intellectual property remain private.
CoPilot Approved Safe for use when logged into JCCC account. JCCC is covered by our enterprise data protection agreements. Student data and intellectual property remain private.
Google Gemini Approved Must be logged in via Stumail account. Student records or non-public research can be used with care.
