For 22-year-old artist Casey Mispagel, painting has been keeping her pretty busy throughout this crazy time. This piece is titled “Pigs Might as well be Flying.” “I used acrylic paint, markers, pen, colored pencils, and glitter embellishment”, Mispagel said. “My inspiration stemmed from my dependence on the sun during quarantine. The flying pigs are kind of obvious. Times are just weird and it feels like anything could happen next, but creating art keeps me optimistic.”
