Community in quarantine

By Mena Haas ( Haas is a staff photographer for the Campus Ledger. This is her second semester at the Ledger, and she enjoys taking photos of all that goes on at the college. She loves photography, music, traveling and doggies.

This piece is titled “Pigs Might as well be Flying.” “I used acrylic paint, markers, pen, colored pencils, and glitter embellishment”, Mispagel said. “My inspiration stemmed from my dependence on the sun during quarantine. The flying pigs are kind of obvious. Times are just weird and it feels like anything could happen next, but creating art keeps me optimistic.”
