October is nationally recognized as Breast Cancer Awareness Month. This year, JCCC’s Center for Student Involvement is hosting a Breast Cancer Awareness Tree to recognize those affected by breast cancer. From October 17 to 31, students, staff and faculty may honor family and friends by writing their names on pink ribbons and hanging the ribbons on the Tree. Potential donors may also contribute to Battle Boutique, a local organization that caters to the needs of cancer patients and their loved ones.

Battle Boutique may be contacted at charlene@battle.boutique or through its Instagram and Facebook pages. Visit nationalbreastcancer.org to learn more about Breast Cancer Month.
