KC Pet Project Volunteer Opportunity

Home | KC Pet Project

KC Pet Project’s mission is to lead the way in creating a compassionate, safe community for pets and people through progressive lifesaving programs and services, community resources, and educational opportunities.

Volunteer | KC Pet ProjectOne way that they could use help this summer is in the Lost and Found department, specifically on Fridays and Saturdays. This would consist of compiling photos of the stray animals that enter the building on this day, and posting them on the Lost & Found Facebook page. It would also involve researching owner information attached to microchips, and searching through Lost & Found reports submitted to the organization, as well as those posted in online forums.

This would be well suited to 1-2 individuals that can devote a few hours between 5-7pm Fridays/Saturdays, and would be best suited for individuals that are interested in volunteering onsite in the afternoons.
