The AGA Group is a healthcare recruiting and staffing firm located in Overland Park Kansas. If you are an ambitious individual with excellent communication skills and experience in recruiting, we want you to join The AGA Group Recruiting Team. This is a commission only sales position with uncapped earnings potential. You will with existing accounts and develop new business opportunities. First year realistic earnings should exceed $75k but results are based solely on your ability to sell and generate revenue.

We are looking for a motivated Entry Level Corporate Recruiter with excellent time management skills to serve as Recruiter for multiple roles – with a strong focus on Outside Sales roles.

Your Specific duties as an Entry Level Corporate Recruiter will be:

  • Create and maintain a talent pipeline and strategy for our Outside Sales positions as well as other key positions
  • Make recommendations about The AGA Group’s recruiting strategy and assist in corporate recruiting efforts and campaigns
  • Build applicant sources through colleges, networking, job fairs, database searches, social media; provide organization information, opportunities, and benefits
  • Determine applicant requirements by studying job description and job qualifications
  • Attract applicants by placing job advertisements, using job sites, and other social media
  • Determine applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants; analyzing responses; verifying references; comparing qualifications to job requirements
  • Arrange management interviews by coordinating schedules
  • Evaluate applicants by discussing job requirements and applicant qualifications with managers; interview applicants on consistent set of qualifications
  • Avoid legal challenges by understanding current legislation; enforcing regulations with managers; recommending new procedures; conducting training

As an Entry Level Corporate Recruiter, you must be highly self motivated and detail-oriented. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are a must for your success in this role.

Specific qualifications for the Entry Level Corporate Recruiter position include:

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources or Business with 1 year Recruiting experience preferred
  • Sales Recruiting experience preferred
  • Excellent communication skills, oral and written
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Solid attendance record
  • Experience in Microsoft Suite
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to coach hiring managers in the recruiting process

Job Summary:

The entry level Recruiter is responsible for executing the recruiting for The AGA Group. The Recruiter performs all activities related to the sourcing, evaluation and selection of talent for primarily non-exempt/hourly positions. Works with Human Resources (HR) team members and hiring managers to assess talent needs, build talent pipelines, and acquire top candidates. Responsible for managing requisitions consistently and in compliance with applicable employment legislation and regulations. Provides timely feedback to hiring managers and works collaboratively to identify and fix recruiting issues. Supports recruiting process by performing administrative and support activities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Partners with hiring managers and the Human Resources Business Partner to source and hire high-quality candidates for technical, administrative and support roles; communicates effectively with managers and candidates at all stages of the process; facilitates employment offers. Understands the focus of the business units and corporate departments and their business and people. Thinks tactically to determine a short-term strategy for hard to fill or unusual roles. Builds a network of talent through varied sources.  Maintains and increases knowledge and skill in recruiting through company provided and external training. Works diligently to be seen as a subject matter expert in talent acquisition and company affirmative action goals. Coaches hiring managers on recruiting best practices. Meets or exceeds established recruiting metrics.

Qualifications:

Associates degree in a human resources or business related field or a commensurate combination of education and work experience  0-2 years of HR Coordinator or Recruiting experience with a demonstrated focus in supporting the recruiting function in a high volume, fast paced, and technical-based environment; work experience in facilities management or manufacturing is a plus.  Knowledge of the full life-cycle of recruitment with experience in successfully sourcing candidates through creative and alternate means is desired.  Demonstrated and applied knowledge of all employment laws and regulations relevant to the recruiting function.  We offer our employees an opportunity to earn a lucrative monthly sales commission. Responsibilities:

  • Source resumes through a variety of databases including but not limited to: internal database, current candidate pipeline, assigned candidate leads, candidate/employee referrals, social media, and online databases
  • Conduct initial phone screens with candidates ensuring qualified applicants are being recruited and submitted to clients
  • Conduct initial intake calls with client point of contact/hiring manager to ensure all necessary information is received to successfully recruit for a position and knowledge of recruiting process is received
  • Build and maintain client relationships to ensure a satisfied customer and enforce growth within the account
  • Identify and promptly notify management in any client or candidate issues that require attention or resolution
  • Perform candidate reference checks to include thorough experience and skills analysis
  • Post approved jobs in appropriate venues and job boards to maximize successful recruitment outcomes
  • Coordinate with both client and candidate the interviewing and onboarding process of all applicants
  • Communicate appropriately, both verbally and in writing, with all levels of staff, candidates, and clients
  • Enter and maintain appropriate candidate, client, and job records in applicant tracking system and all other systems accurately and timely
  • Conduct regular follow-up clients to determine the effectiveness of recruiting, identify opportunities for improvement, and future needs
  • Follow all established ARG and client contractual obligations
  • Prepare and submit a variety of status reports, including activity, closings, follow-up, and adherence to goals
  • Responsible for meeting all assigned key performance indicators and revenue targets

  • 1-2 years in a customer “interfacing” role (recruiting, retail, business to business, hospitality, etc.)
  • Business to Business phone based experience preferred
