Adepto – IT Programmer

About us: Adepto is a growing medical sales company. We specialize in renting, servicing and selling IV Pumps all over the US. We have an in house biomedical team that maintains and manages our own rental fleet along with our customer’s IV pumps.

Benefits: Full Health Premiums are paid for the employee. Monthly bonuses are given to all employees if the company hits a record month. The bonus is 2% of employee’s annual base pay.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and implement new technology to improve the company’s bottom line
  • Solve in house technical problems as needed.
  • Investigate and troubleshoot IT problems, recommend configurations of computer systems, and implement technology deployments
  • Educate, train and provide technical expertise in the use of IT tools as they relate to the business lines.
  • Potentially travel to our several locations in the KC area and occasionally to LA as needed. Less than 5% travel
  • G-Suite administration (set up emails and help manage all the internal Google Docs and Sheets)
  • Troubleshoots daily application issues
  • Must be capable of using standard desktop applications including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Must have strong troubleshooting skills and ability to approach issues from all areas (i.e. consider desktop and network when addressing server issues)
  • Track and manage all deployed hardware assets including computers, tablets, phones, etc
  • Track and manage software licenses
  • Maintain and test backups
  • Provides input on infrastructure changes/improvements
  • Research and purchase hardware solutions for internal infrastructure
  • Maintain and updates firewall policy
  • Performs various service related functions as needed (e.g. attend client and internal staff meetings, prepare status reports, etc…)
  • Individual must be organized and a self-starter
  • Have a proactive management style; be punctual, responsible, and attentive to details
  • Exhibit good problem-solving abilities and be proficient in hardware diagnosis
  • Able to demonstrate the ability to think critically; able to multi-task, prioritize, and problem solve in a fast-paced environment

Description 
The Website Coordinator is the central point of contact between the customer and the rest of the Website Design team. Working in a high volume production environment, you work directly with the customer to gather information needed to produce their website. Working with the Copywriters and the Designers, you provide the information about the customer to allow each team to successfully create the customer’s finished website.

Job Functions

  • Responsible for the primary contact with the customer, hand holding them through the fulfillment process and setting appropriate expectations for online presence products
  • Gather, assemble and organize content received from several sources into cohesive instructions and information to provide to the Content Coordinator and Design Consultant.
  • Efficiently prioritize projects to identify which projects based on prescribed timelines and client needs.
  • Communicating with customers by phone and email to gather content, review completed websites and receive information on necessary revisions they request for their site.
  • Ability to adjust to an environment with ongoing change related to evolving product definition and process improvements.
  • Position may include other duties as determined by the company.

Required: 

  • Education: High School (or equivalent)
  • 2+ years of experience in customer service
  • Excellent time mgmt. and organization skills
  • Excellent communication – both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently, utilize documentation effectively and communicate technical concepts to non-technical people is required.

Project Intern: SQL and Oracle Database Analyst

We are seeking a talented and motivated Intern to work on a project to help the organization move forward with two of our critical loan processing applications. We are looking for an individual with the right blend of skills, education, experience, and attitude to fill this position.

The successful candidate will have understanding and experience working with SQL and Oracle. This individual will also demonstrate the ability to succeed with minimal supervision and has the ability to interact with vendors and technical experts to provide solutions. This position will interact with other team members though out the organization.

The Project:

  • Gain a thorough understanding of the SQL/Oracle data structures of our critical loan processing applications
  • Documentation of the SQL/Oracle data structure(s) of our critical loan processing applications
  • Design, develop, and test queries for potential export / import functionality
  • Working with our vendor to implement the vendor’s import interface tool
  • Create and execute test cases of interfaces
  • Research and solve data issues
  • Provide recommendations for automation of data process flows

Required Skills:

  • Pursuing degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering
