WORDPRESS I N T E R N S H I P: We are a small startup company looking for bright talented and detail orientated individuals to help us create clean cutting-edge interface designs and information architecture for our websites; that includes splash pages, landing pages and sales pages. Must have basic to mid level graphic and web design skills.

ALL WEBSITES will be built using WordPress. The position is a part time on site placement (20 hrs. per week). Knowledge of the following technologies is a plus: writing code in HTML5/CSS, JavaScript, and PHP. Creating, editing and modifying templates for a CMS web development a must. As your skills grow your responsibilities will increase. Preference will be given to web builders who are also graphic designers.

Responsibilities & Job Duties (include, but are not limited too):

  • Providing general help desk support for our end users
  • Supporting the initiatives of the Tickets For Less IT department
  • Performing general organizational and administrative functions for the IT department
  • Coordinating the scheduling of calls and meetings with Tickets For Less IT 3rd party vendors

Job Description

The Department of Technology and Innovation (DTI) for Johnson County Government is hiring a Technical Support Analyst to help staff the DTI Support Center (IT Help Desk).  The duties of the Technical Support Analyst II are as follows:

  • Provides support and resolution for users with hardware, software and applications problems; resolves user-reported problems as expertise permits using available tools and following procedures and policies.
  • Directs issues to the appropriate personnel for service, repair, and training; maintains record of daily data communication transactions, problems, and actions taken or installation activities; provides follow-up contact to users reporting technology related problems and issues to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Installs, configures, tests and operates a desktop and other peripheral equipment; ensures proper installation of cables, desktop operating systems, and/or appropriate software.
  • Instructs users in the use of desktop equipment and software; identifies and communicates training needs.
  • Contributes to the creation of support processes, procedures, and documentation;  assists with the development of desktop hardware and software standards;  assists in the coordination of  routine projects, including designing and setting up the environment to test a proof of concept and writing test scripts.
  • Orders technology supplies and equipment as directed; assists with the removal or disposal of old supplies and equipment.

Network Operations Technicians will be responsible for monitoring, correlating, troubleshooting and resolving network alarms and performance deviations for Sprint’s nationwide wireless network.  This network consists of multiple technologies such as CDMA, EVDO and LTE across multiple frequency bands and equipment vendors.

–    Perform routine ticket management and escalations to drive problems to final resolution

–    Use combination of various tools to correlate multiple faults and/or system presented data into singular network impairments
