Firefighter: The City of Leavenworth is seeking qualified applicants to perform specialized firefighting and rescue duties under emergency conditions frequently involving considerable physical danger on regular 24 hour shifts; Assists in maintenance of fire equipment, apparatus, and quarters. Min Quals: Graduation from HS or equivalent; at least 18 years old at time of appointment; valid driver’s license at time of application, must obtain KS Class “B” driver’s license w/in 90 days of appointment; IFSAC Firefighter I and II, Haz-Mat Operations level cert. and KS EMT-B or Paramedic cert. at time of appointment (attach current certifications) CPAT certification and FSEE score must be attached to application to be eligible.
