The primary objective of this blog is to make information easily accessible to faculty teaching honors courses at JCCC and to those interested in joining the honors team. Our content will grow as needs are expressed and as our program takes shape.
Our anticipated audience is comprised of faculty and administrators. Accordingly, what we foresee covering in our pages will include pedagogical tools, information about what makes an honors course, resources to build and improve teaching in honors, opportunities for students, and so much more.
This blog will be in conversation with the Honors Students’ blog as well as the Honors Program’s website. Across the three platforms, we will be able to answer most questions and plant the seed for new ideas. To respect our students’ privacy, the Canvas shell will remain in use for student information.
