Use Split Solid, Combine/Subtract and Project to model two candy (or soap, Jello) molds in a Christmas tree shape, complete with inserts for neater storage. Note these are for two separate flat-on-bottom candies. If you want to put the halves together for a whole tree, extrude a small hole at the bottom to pour the liquid in.
