Please note that the text (Experience Sociology: Fourth Edition by David Croteau and William Hoynes) is available on Canvas. You paid for it when you paid for the course. You can also, if you like, purchase an inexpensive spiral-bound physical text in the college bookstore. The chapter quizzes (required) are included in the online text in Canvas.

The syllabus for this course is here. You need to complete all the chapters by the last regular day of classes for the semester (before final exam week for on-campus classes).

Canvas will record grades on the chapter quizzes.

Everyone will need the Adobe Reader, or a compatible program, for the PDF file. Most people have that (free) program installed already, but it can be downloaded here.

We will finish at chapter 11 (for chapter quizzes). We may finish sooner for online lectures.
