YOU’RE NOT ALONE
According to the National Survey on Drug Use and Health, an estimated 19.7 million American adults (12 and older) battle addiction. The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration reported about 5.1 million young adults age 18 to 25 battled a substance use disorder in 2017. It’s important to remember that developing an addiction isn’t a sign of moral failing or weakness. It is simply an illness that requires treatment. Recovery is never out of reach.
