In this session, we will explore ways to increase student investment in content without overwhelming faculty members with additional paperload. If you are tired of tests or uneasy with traditional research essays, it might be time to try something different. Join our interdisciplinary panel of faculty will discuss creating assignments that meet different objectives: from low-stakes learning checks, to assessments that move students to the application of knowledge, to projects that encourage students to follow their curiosity.
