Many students didn\u2019t know that JCCC offers discounts on all kinds of services on campus. The nail tech program offers discounts on nail services provided by students enrolled in the nail technician program. Open from 6 p.m.-9 p.m. Wednesdays and Thursdays, the salon takes appointments online or by phone. They offer basic nail services like manicures, pedicures, and gel polish, as well as advanced nail services such as artificial nails or dip powder nails. They also have add-on services like a peach paraffin wax, eucalyptus mask, and a honey pearl scrub that can be added to your mani pedi. Please be aware that these services are performed by the students in the nail technician program while being supervised by their instructor, so they may take longer than a professional nail technician.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

JCCC students and staff with a current ID can receive a discount of 20% off all salon services. If you are above the age of 60, you can receive 20% off as well with a proof of ID. The dental hygienist program offers low cost services as well. These are all priced at $10 which can be obtained by JCCC students, faculty, members of the community and children four or older. They offer preventative care services performed by the students in the program and supervised by dentists and registered dental hygienists. When asked the experience level of the students who perform supervised care, the Director, Dr. Carrie Hanson stated, \u201cThey see patients in their second semester of their first year, so by the time they graduate they are ready to take the board exam and become licensed dental hygienists.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
