Today, Oct. 14, is the <\/span>last day to register to vote in Kansas<\/span><\/a> for the Nov. 4 general election, and if you can\u2019t make it, it’s never too late to register for future elections and allow your voice to be heard.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Primary elections are held on the first Tuesday of August and general elections are on the first Tuesday of November. In Missouri, the deadline to register for the Nov. 4 elections was Oct. 8.<\/span><\/p>\n

For Kansas residents, according to <\/span>Kansas Online Voter Registration<\/span><\/a>, in order to <\/span>register to vote<\/span><\/a> online you must:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Verify your voting eligibility.<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. Verify that you have a valid driver’s license or non-driver’s identification card.<\/span><\/li>\n
  3. Enter your personal information.<\/span><\/li>\n
  4. Review and submit your information.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    For those who don’t have a Kansas drivers license or another form of identification, <\/span>paper registration.<\/span><\/a> is also available and must be sent to your local county election office.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

    For those voting in Missouri, visit the <\/span>Missouri Secretary of State website<\/span><\/a> and for any other voting information visit <\/span>Vote.gov<\/span><\/a> and find your state.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

    Not sure if you\u2019ve registered to vote? You can <\/span>check your registration status<\/span><\/a> and make sure all your information is correct in a few quick clicks.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

    If your address or your name has changed, make sure that you re-register to vote, as well as update any identification, like your driver\u2019s license or state ID, you plan to use when voting in order to be able to during elections.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

    The event\u2019s description states, \u201cIn this panel, professionals from accounting, marketing, sales, and supply chain management will share their paths into the industry, daily responsibilities, and advice for students starting out. Whether you’re curious or committed to a business path, this session helps you gain clarity, make connections, and take the next step.\u201d <\/span>

    \n<\/span>Students can attend in person or virtually, though virtual attendees must register with their JCCC account information by today, Oct. 14,<\/span> in order to access the livestream.
