With a recorded 129 goals scored out of 24 games played this season (average 5.4 goals per game) the JCCC Women\u2019s Soccer team was a force to be reckoned with.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span>Unfortunately, all good things must come to an end, as they suffered a heartbreaking defeat at the hands of Northwest Mississippi College at the 2024 NJCAA DII Women\u2019s Soccer Championship in November. But, as any Cavalier athlete will tell you, these losses only make for an extraordinary comeback.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cWe had an incredible season,\u201d head coach Jim Schwab said. \u201cA team with incredible energy and effort\u2026 a wonderful combination,\u201d said head coach Jim Schwab about his team. \u201cWe have a wonderful freshmen class and they all have a chance to become leaders as they were this year\u2026\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

One notable freshman includes Lily Marshall, having started 24 out of 24 games this season. Marshall finished with 10 goals, 10 assists, and 10 shots on goal.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Brecken Hoy finished with 22 games started, 10 goals, nine assists, and 26 shots on goal.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The Lady Cavaliers\u2019 hard work is all in the numbers, as they conclude their reason with 19 shutouts.<\/span><\/p>\n
