Welcome to the Nerman Museum of Contemporary Art’s Educator Resources blog. Here, you will find helpful content to assist in the planning of museum visits and and with the creation of tie-ins to class curricula.
You can use the menu to find resources on what is currently on view at the museum, to learn more about the art and artists featured in our permanent collection, exhibitions, special installations and events.
We also provide a variety of reference materials, and the ability to look up posts by artist, materials/medium, and theme/topics.
Lastly, we feature materials available for reference in our museum libraries, featuring Art Education books about works and artists in our collection, and children’s books, used to enrich guided tours. JCCC staff and faculty, as well as Nerman Museum docents are also able to check out Art Education books for two weeks at a time, in preparation for upcoming tours and activities. To access or check out these materials, please reach out to tours@nermanmuseum.org to schedule a time to stop by.
