On-Campus Wellness Classes
Work out with your JCCC colleagues in employee fitness classes with licensed instructors to assist you. There are no deadlines to enroll in these classes.
- T’ai Chi – This gentle form of exercise can prevent or ease many ills of aging.
- Weight Training & Conditioning – Weight training and conditioning exercises that vary with each session.
- Yoga – Beginner to intermediate level yoga that teaches strength, flexibility, endurance, and harmony.
- Zumba – Blends upbeat world rhythms with easy-to-follow choreography for a total-body workout that is exhilarating and effective.
Small Group Personal Training Sign-ups are going on now for sessions beginning week of June 3rd! These sessions fill up fast and have a commitment to the full 8-week session. There are multiple time frame options. Email Ruth Dey at email@example.com if interested.
Faculty/Staff Lifetime Fitness Center Use
All current JCCC employees, their spouses, and college-age dependents are eligible to use the fitness center in the Gym. Employees may walk in with their JCCC ID card (NO orientation is required). Spouses and college-age dependents will need to contact Wellness Coordinator Ruth Dey at ext. 3217 or email firstname.lastname@example.org in order to utilize the fitness center.
Indoor Track Use
JCCC employees may utilize the indoor track in the Gym by presenting their JCCC ID card to the check-in desk. Open Monday to Friday based on availability, please call ahead before arriving to make sure it is not closed for an event. Fieldhouse extension is 4635.
Chair Massages: Chair massages from a certified massage therapist occur right on campus! 15-minute sessions cost $15. Located in Regnier Center 171. 2019 dates: March 7-8, April 11-12, May 9-10, June 12-13, July 10-11, August 15-16, September 12-13, October 10-11, November 7-8, December 12-13. Employee Assistance Program
JCCC’s Employee Assistance Program is a benefit available to all employees offered through New Directions Behavioral Health.
Once on NDBH’s website, click “For Individuals and Families”. In the new window that opens, choose “Employee Assistance Program” from the drop-down menu. The company code/password is “JCCC”, then click “Log In”.

Kansas City Corporate Challenge
The KC Corporate Challenge is an Olympic-style charitable event that allows participants to interact with each other through sporting events. Games are played every year from April through June at iconic Kansas City locations including the Truman Sports Complex, Kansas Speedway and Shawnee Mission Park.
Each year, a Kansas City-based charitable organization benefits financially from KCCC.
