FireFighter/EMT FireFighter/Paramedic

Open Position: Firefighter/EMT or Firefighter/Paramedic

Purpose: Johnson County Fire District No. 2 (Stilwell, Kansas) is accepting applications for the position of full-time Firefighter/EMT or full-time Firefighter/Paramedic. This position is a non-exempt shift work position and is subject to background check and drug screening.

Qualifications: Required qualifications include: Must be at least 18 years of age, a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, Firefighter I, and Kansas Certified Emergency Medical Technician (or equivalence), CPAT, and FSEE.

Preferred Qualifications: Kansas Certified Paramedic (or equivalence), Firefighter II, KS Class B driver’s license

Entry Level Salary: Firefighter/EMT -$37,815 (w/no previous full-time experience)

Entry Level Salary: Firefighter/Paramedic – $41,596 (w/no previous full-time experience)
