The Children’s Hospital Association (“CHA”) advances child health through innovation in the quality, cost and delivery of care with children’s hospitals.  Representing more than 220 children’s hospitals, CHA is the voice of children’s hospitals nationally.  CHA seeks a Manager of Data Governance and Data Strategy who will report to the Director, Financial and Operational Analytics and will lead data governance activities including the implementation and maintenance of a data governance plan.

Credentials We Seek:

• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in an information systems or business analytics-related field.
• This individual will have a minimum of five years’ experience working in a healthcare data management role with work-related experience in systems, data management and data science.
• Knowledge of major hospital data systems is required, while experience in pediatric hospital or pediatric data experience is preferred.
• Experience developing data organizational policies and procedures including implementation by building consensus and stakeholder commitment.

Responsibilities:

The key focus of this position includes availability, usability, consistency, data integrity and data security while establishing processes to ensure effective data management throughout the organization.  Within CHA, this individual will work with data program leads, IT data warehouse leads and hospital data submission leads to ensure the integration of data across all programs.
