Let two Stormtroopers hold your phone up! Download a file from Thingiverse and turn it into a phone stand with Matter Hackers filament on a Taz 6.
Modify a Thingiverse model with an eye to removing its supports easily. Generate the supports in Simplify 3D and 3D print it.
Use a 2D component as as a sketch from which a 3D printable STL file is easily made in Meshmixer.
With Autodesk Fusion 360, use a Torus to make a cage, add a loop, then add a bead while it’s under construction. Printed with Colorfabb Bronzefill.
Use Tinkercad to make a business card with text and a QR code on it. Make it printable in Meshmixer and then 3D print it in two colors on a single extruder MakerBot.
Model a card with the Outer Shell solid tool. Print it in two colors with one extruder.
Modeled in SketchUp and printed on my MakerBot Rep 2. Flawless! It will be part of my display at today’s Barnes and Noble Maker Faire at the Oak Park Mall in Overland Park.
