So much has happened in the news recently. The history of voting in the United States also tells a story of overcoming injustices and Supreme Court cases – which is the focus of our activities this week.

Call to create:

Create a video of your own about how to register to vote and why it’s important to your community! Or create a social media post encouraging your friends and family to register to vote. Create art, a poster, or a poem – whatever media inspires you – to spread the word about voter education and voter turnout.

Other ways to help:

VoteWithMeOne of the goals of this challenge is to reach as many JCCC students as possible. Recruit three friends to join, and you can add that to the “other” category on your log.

Research voting laws in your area, state, or nationally. How can you advocate for a just voting system?
