The FAFSA is a great place to start when applying for scholarships. To help you with that, JCCC is hosting a FAFSA completion night on Wednesday, Mar. 5, at the Regnier Center at 5 p.m. Filling out the FAFSA can be confusing, but experienced counselors will be there to help.
It’s time to start applying for scholarships. Sites like UniGo, Cappex, and CollegeBoard are great resources to get matched with scholarships that fit your learning path. The Financial Aid office in the Student Center has a lot of great resources to help you get started.
On Wednesday, Feb. 19, JCCC is hosting a free workshop to teach you about investing and creating a budget. Understanding your own finances is crucial to taking control of your money. Come to the CoLab from 2-3 p.m. to learn about credit, investments, and more.
Finally, if you’re having trouble figuring out the process or paying for classes, come see a Financial Aid advisor. They can help you with your financial aid eligibility and give you great resources on applying for financial aid.
Don’t let financial obstacles stop you from reaching your goals as a student; JCCC can teach you to wisely manage your money and get scholarships.
