Cavs & KC Sports: JCCC’s Own Fab Four, Mavs Hockey Faces Allen Americans

Men’s Basketball’s “Fab Four”

Settling in on a 10-game winning streak, the Cavaliers men’s basketball team is one of the best in the country, with high hopes of making another tournament appearance this year, after being eliminated in the first round in 2024.

Four players, the “Fab Four,” lead this team by averaging more than 10 points a game.

Players like Brandon Mann, who is averaging 14.5 points and five rebounds per game, makes a huge impact on the Cavs with his scoring ability. Brandon is a 6’5 forward from Tulsa, Oklahoma in his sophomore season.

Steven Samuels is a sophomore guard from Jefferson City, Missouri, who is averaging 11 points and four rebounds per game. He shoots 30 percent from three, and 80 percent from the line.

Tavian Cruse, a freshman forward from Bonner Springs, Kansas., is averaging a double-double with 10 rebounds and 11 points per game.

Gavin Harvey is a guard from Overland Park, Kansas, who averages five assists per game, distributing the ball to everyone else; and while that is a great stat, he also averages 12 points per game.

These four players look ready to  help the Cavs not only make the tournament again, but make a run in that tournament.
