Taking place on April 18, this is set to be a unique and vibrant event, showcasing the diverse talents of students from across various departments. Attendees will experience a show that features multiple distinct themes, as each designer brings their own creative vision to life, resulting in a dynamic and colorful mix of designs.
Event Details:

- Venue: Culinary Building
- Ticket Availability: Go here
- Ticket Price: VIP: $75 General: $20- $35
This event is entirely student-driven, with students acting as designers, models, photographers, makeup artists, and many more roles. The diverse range of themes and styles will highlight their individual creativity. However, this is not to diminish the professors’ credit, as they, too, play a crucial role in guiding and supporting the students, and ensuring the show runs smoothly.
This year, the fashion show will take place in the school’s culinary building, which offers a unique setting for the event. In keeping with the building’s purpose, culinary students will be contributing to the atmosphere by providing food for the event, adding a flavorful touch to the experience. And as excited as you are, I have more good news.
The fashion show is open to everyone, from students and teachers, to families and friends. Tickets for the event sell out quickly due to the excitement surrounding the show. The atmosphere of support and community makes the event feel like a celebration for the entire school; so make sure to get the tickets as soon as you can!
Organizing the fashion show has been no easy feat. Students and teachers have been planning for months, ensuring that every detail—from the designs to the food to the logistics—falls into place. The event will feature a range of innovative and unique designs, each reflecting the designer’s individual inspiration. For example, One designer is drawing influence from Greek mythology, another inspired by a book named 1Q84 written by the Japanese writer Haruki Murakami, and a third creating designs based on traditional Chinese dragons.
One of the professors, Emily Goulet, says that if she could describe the talent show in only three words, it would be “Proud mom moment”. She knows how hard everyone has worked to be able to contribute to this show and compete, so for her and all the other professors, it is a moment in which they can be proud of the dedication these students have shown.
