ICYMI: Cavs Volleyball Deserves Some Love

If you missed a Cavs championship run last semester, we want to catch you up. This past season, the 2024 Cavalier volleyball team made it all the way to the NJCAA National Championship game.

The Cavaliers had an outstanding season with 30 wins and seven losses. They also had an amazing tournament run in search of their third national championship. In an intense match against the defending National Champions, Cowley Community College, the Lady Cavaliers started off strong with a first-set win 25-18. In the next three sets they lost 25-19, 25-14, and 25-21. They played hard till the end, and are ready to get that national championship next season.

How to watch the Royals in 2025

The Royals have played on a network called Bally Sports Kansas City in the last couple of seasons. Now, the network has changed its name to FanDuel Sports Network Kansas City. Don’t get that confused with the channel called FanDuel TV+, which is for live horse races and gambling.

You can find the network on cable companies like Charter Spectrum, Comcast Xfinity, Cox, DIRECTV, DIRECTV STREAM, Fubo, U-verse TV, and Xtream powered by Mediacom.

For streaming options, you can watch the Royals on  DIRECTV STREAM and FuboTV, but not YouTube TV or Sling.

They also offer direct access to FanDuel Sports Network for $19.99 per month and a total of $105.99 for the year on the FanDuel app. Or, get an add-on from Prime Video, which will cost the same, but you already have to be an Amazon Prime member.

Otherwise, there will be national broadcast games on channels like Fox, FS1, MLB Network, TBS, Apple TV, and the Roku Channel. These channels haven’t announced their schedules yet, but there will be Royals games on these channels.

The last subscription you can buy is MLB TV for $29.99 per month or $149.99 for the year, but you have to live outside of the KC viewing area to see Royals games.
