“Rhinoceros” is a play written by Eugene Ionesco and directed by Trevor Belt. The story revolves around citizens in a French town who begin shifting into rhinoceroses one by one, leaving only one man, Bérenger, as the last human in the town. The play is commonly interpreted as a critique of mass conformity and explores themes of individuality. “Rhinoceros” was performed at the Polsky Theatre from April 18th to April 20th and again this weekend from April 25th to April 27th. The performance will take place on Friday and Saturday at 7:30 p.m., as well as on Sunday at 2 p.m. The performance is free of admission to the public on both weekends.
