After losing to Fort Scott Community College in the 2026 NJCAA Division 2 Plains District Tournament Semifinals, the men’s basketball team was selected as an at-large bid to compete for a National Championship. Deja-vu? That’s because last season, our women’s team found themselves in the same position, only to go out and win it all. The men’s team will have a keen eye on them as they move towards the same result. On Monday, the 16th, the men will find themselves in Danville, IL facing off against Parkland College in the 2026 NJCAA DII Men’s Basketball National Championship Second Round. The next day, March 17th, the women will be in Hickory, NC, playing against a currently undetermined opponent in the same round. Check in with JCCC Athletics for updates.
