I received this email from Headquarters Counseling Center this week:
For over 50 years, Headquarters has provided suicide and crisis intervention services to Kansans and valuable volunteer opportunities to students and faculty. We are currently recruiting folks to participate in the upcoming trainings for volunteer crisis phone counselors who answer the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline.
Come learn about becoming a Headquarters Volunteer Counselor by attending one of the upcoming information sessions. You’ll learn about our training and training schedule, meet some HQ staff who will lead training, learn more about what we do at HQ, and get all of your questions answered.
Information Sessions are held at Headquarters, located at 2110 Delaware Street, Suite B Lawrence, KS 66046
Thursday January 28 6pm
Sunday February 2 at 2pm
Monday February 3 at 6pm
