Shepherd’s Center provides programs, leadership and advocacy to help both active and home-bound older adults live healthy, engaged and independent lives. One service they provide is delivering personal hygiene products and incontinence supplies to their clients in need.
Who: YOU! They welcome groups. This is a great opportunity for an individual or even a group of co-workers, friends to come in to help make a difference in older adult’s lives
What:
- Unloading items
- Sorting supplies/Packaging orders
- Delivering items and having client interaction (must have valid driver’s license, current insurance and able to pass a background screening)
When: The second Wednesday of each month, beginning February 12th, 2020. Unloading, packing and sorting shift will take place from 10:00 am to approximately 2:00 pm dependent on volunteer task. Drivers will arrive at 1 pm. Most routes take 45 minutes to 1 hour.
