
Operation Breakthrough’s mission is to provide a safe, loving, and educational environment for children in poverty and to empower their families through advocacy, emergency aid, and education.
They are needing volunteers for this Saturday, September 19th! Operation Breakthrough is holding an onsite warehouse giveaway for Operation Breakthrough families and community members. They will be handing out much-needed items during this time!
Location: Onsite Warehouse at 3039 Troost Avenue, Kansas City, MO
They would really love a helping hand! They are very flexible with hours. They have 3 shifts to sign up for!
Set-Up: 7:00-9:00 AM
Giveaway: 9:00 AM-1:00 PM
Clean-Up: 1:00-3:00 PM

When arriving Operation Breakthrough asks for volunteers to meet with Jessica in the bus lot across from the main parking lot at 3039 Troost Avenue. Please park in the main lot and walk over to the bus lot where the giveaway will be held.
Operation Breakthrough will be providing extra masks and gloves if needed with sanitizer onsite! They will also be offering snacks and refreshments for all volunteers!

Blessings Abound Thrift Store is in need of volunteers! They need help anytime between 9am and 6pm Monday through Friday, as well as 9am and 4pm on Saturday.

Help raise funds to support COVID-19 efforts, including housing and utility assistance, food pantry, meal deliveries for seniors, and virtual learning support for the charter school student body for Latino families in our community.
Help families who are struggling to secure food during COVID-19, especially fresh fruits and vegetables, by donating to Cultivate KC. This organization provides local produce grown with care to food pantries in order to help nurture our community.
Support seniors in the community. Shepherd’s Center addresses emotional and physical needs, such as loneliness and hunger, and helps care for one of the most vulnerable populations during COVID-19
