With all clubs being online, it is important to make sure you are building solid relationships with your members. To do this ice breakers maybe the way you want to start out your meeting. This can be done by simply asking members how they are or giving general funny questions for them to answer.

In the early days of club meetings, it is important to gain a good connection throughout the group. A common way to go about this is through speed dating. To do this make a first make a series of questions. Then put group members in breakout rooms and give them a certain amount of time to talk to their fellow members about the question(s). Lastly, bring everyone back in the main room and repeat the process.

Online games are all the rage these days, making it easy to connect with people even through social distancing. One of the most popular games sweeping through the online market is Among Us. With this game at a meeting, you are sure to have an amazing time with your fellow members.

Being on Zoom opens up a realm of possibilities for club meetings as most members are in the comfort of their home. For a fun activity bring your pet. This automatically gives members a bit more comfort when opening up about themselves.

At JCCC most clubs do not just hold regular meetings but fun events too. Movie night is always an option in this setting. For this Teleparty (Netflix’s group streaming service) or Hulu’s Watch Party are suggested. Make sure to connect with club members first to see which streaming service would allow the most members to join in on the fun.

It is not only important to reach out to your club members during this time but also the community. Handmade cards are one way to do that. Hosting card making event is one way for your club to gain service hours and put a smile on someone’s face.

Clubs can never go wrong with a fun game to play. And for most of them you do not even need to find it online. Pictionary for example can be done by splitting members into groups, private messaging them what to draw, and drawing via the annotation feature in zoom. Points would be awards instead of going around a board.
