Spring is here and it may be time to add some more color into your space. This cheap and easy plant hanger DIY is the perfect way to spruce up your home decor. You will need any basketball, chain, key rings, grommet kit and a box cutter.

The first step is to cut a circle big enough to fit your plant. When cutting make sure the circle is in the middle and isn’t too big or small.

Next, you’ll need to grab your grommet kit. Take out the tracing product to mark the holes you’ll need for the grommets. There should be two holes made on each side of the basketball for when you apply the keyring and chain. Make sure the holes are the size of the tracer in order for the grommets to hold.

For the third step, you’ll need to take out the grommet pieces and the tools that go with it. Set up the grommet on the basketball. Once you do this, find a corner of a table to place the basketball down for hammering.

For the fourth step, use the tool that pushes down the grommet pieces together and hammer. The grommet should hold together after you hammer for a few seconds.

Next, take your keyrings and apply one on each side. You’ll lace the keyring through the two holes made on each side. This will hold the chain.
