HCIS Internship Facts for Host Sites

JCCC is committed to ensuring each HCIS internship provides a valuable experience for both the student and the host site.

Our Students

Internship Components

HCIS internship experiences vary from host site to host site. Any experience within healthcare IT involving the EHR meets the requirement for an HCIS internship. The internship can be a shadowing/observational experience or a work experience in any department related to Health Information Systems. Essentially, any professional healthcare IT exposure is beneficial to interns.
