On Nov. 13th Student Life posted on social media a safe way for the students of JCCC to celebrate Friendsgiving this year because of COVID-19. The organization gave a way to give thanks to friends this year by sending postcards to students who RSVP’d through JCCC Get Involved.

In order to get the cards students had to RVSP and give their address and name. Student life then sent students five cards and five stamps for students to send thankful messages to their friends during the holiday.

With Thanksgiving getting nearer, the CDC and other health officials are warning against celebrations with friends and family. Student life wanted to make sure that students operate in safe ways when it comes to Thanksgiving. Giving them the option to participate in the event.

JCCC student life emphasized on their get involved page that, “the holiday season is starting, and Thanksgiving is getting closer and closer. Because of this, take some time to send your friends some snail mail! It will brighten their day!”
