Spring semester is among us and home offices might not be cutting it anymore. Around the Johnson County area, there are a few coffee shops that have their doors open for anyone who might need to get away to study. Cafe Equinox has many different seating areas to keep your visit safe and satisfactory. The cafe is inside the Family Tree Nursery store and has a Shawnee and Overland Park location. The cafe is open every day until 4 p.m.

When entering Cafe Equinox, you will come across five acres of all types of greenery. Throughout the cafe seating, there are all sorts of greenery intertwined that makes the space very bohemian themed. Whether you are grabbing coffee with a friend or need a new study area this is the place for you.

If you are needing some peace and quiet there are many nooks around the cafe to sit by yourself. Brooke Bowlin found the perfect spot to get some work done while enjoying the beautiful view around her.

Another great coffee spot to study at is The Roasterie Cafe inside the Lenexa Public Market. Within this market, there is something for everyone. If you are needing a snack or some lunch there are many different options to choose from. There are two floors both containing many seats so that you can continue to social distance. The market is located in Lenexa, KS, and is open every day.

Located on the main floor are all the different merchants. There is seating in the middle of all the merchants along with a more secluded area behind The Roasterie.

The rest of the Lenexa Public Market seating can be found on the second floor. Due to the seating being on the second floor, this area is much more quiet and great for studying.

There are many different cozy spots to grab coffee and study in Johnson County and Mclain’s Market is definitely a part of that list. Located in Overland Park, this market has everything from coffee to food to yummy pastries. Mclain’s has two different seating areas and is open every day.
