Prof. Alexander Featured in Podcast

With co-editor Daniel Wolff and Danny Alexander was featured on an episode of the Rock’s Backpages Podcast regarding their Dave Marsh anthology and the legacy of Curtis Mayfield. Rock’s Backpages is the most extensive database for music journalism (which historically has often been published underground or in commercial formats that long went uncollected in academic archives). The Billington Library carries it for music research. the only one of our databases focused on popular music journalism.
