Kansas City Chiefs

The Kansas City Chiefs seem to be on their way to a great season. The Chiefs head into their bye week with a 4-0 record. Patrick Mahomes, coming off an injury, has shown the league that he’s prepared for any team, and this year he has more help than ever.

Kansas City’s receiver room isn’t the prettiest in the league, especially after Tyquan Thornton’s shocking injury and Rashee Rice hurting his hamstring, but the addition of Kenneth Walker at running back has been huge for them. The 2026 Super Bowl MVP, Walker, continues to impress the league game after game, adding 177 yards and two touchdowns against the Raiders on Sunday. According to ESPN’s Stat Leaders Page, the KC running back is on top in rushing yards with 360. Walker’s work on the ground and Mahomes passing game are the main reasons for the team’s success.

According to the Chiefs’ 2026 Schedule, they face the struggling Los Angeles Chargers first off the bye. This AFC West matchup takes place in Arrowhead at 3:25 p.m. on October 18. LA’s quarterback Justin Herbert has a lot to prove in the upcoming weeks after falling to the second worst QBR in the league after the first four weeks
