On Tuesday, Nov. 4, the general election took place. Four JCCC Board of Trustees positions and the Overland Park mayor were up for election. 

The unofficial results are as follows: 

Board of Trustees-

Reelected members: Dawn J. Rattan and Lee Cross. New members: Chad Carroll and Geoff Holton. 

Dawn J. Rattan: 63,725 votes

Lee Cross: 58,919 votes

Chad Carroll: 55,633 votes

Geoff Holton: 53,081 votes

Jerry Charlton: 32,857 votes

Kenneth Stokes: 30,658 votes

Carlton Abner: 28,324 votes

Write-In Totals: 451 votes

Mayor of Overland Park-

Curt Skoog was reelected for his second term against his competitor Faris Farassati. 

Curt Skoog: 26,377 votes

Faris Farassati: 10,899 votes

Write-In Totals: 71 votes
