On Nov. 18, the JCCC Women’s Soccer team suffered a devastating overtime defeat at 4-3 to Jones College in the 2025 NJCAA Dll Women’s Soccer Championship – Pool A game, marking the Cavs one and only loss of the season.
After only allowing four points all season, JCCC sophomore goalkeeper Avery Young allowed 4 goals against Jones College, marking the end of their 2025 playoff run. Jones’ sophomore forward Sherline King had a standout performance, and takes all the credit for this win, as she scored all four goals against Johnson County.
