Welcome or welcome back, Cavs! The new school year has arrived, and classes and activities are in full swing. To avoid last-minute scrambling that may affect your already busy schedule, look out for these important dates and deadlines that will be here before you know it.  

• The last day to drop a fall full-semester course without a withdrawal (a “W” on your permanent student record) is Sept. 21 at 11 p.m.  

• If you need to return textbooks or materials to The Bookstore, the last day for fall 2026 refunds is Sept. 24.  

• Congratulations to all fall 2026 graduate students. The application deadline for fall graduation is Oct.15. 

• Still deciding whether or not to rent a few textbooks? No problem! The last day to rent for fall 2026 is Nov.7.  

• The last day to request a pass/fail grade option or to withdraw from a fall full-semester course is Nov.16.
