US teacher fired for jokingly correcting spelling in a student tweet.  (How credible is Daily Mail? )

Kansas Board of Regents ruled a couple years ago that faculty at KS colleges can be fired for “damaging the brand” of the college or university they work for via private posts made on personal time and devices.  The argument at the time was that it would never be abused – but the effect on me was to dramatically decrease my presence on Facebook, Twitter and other social media.
