Halloween is around the corner and although this year is being celebrated quite differently due to COVID-19 there are ways to still dress up and have some fun inside. Follow along with this step by step Euphoria eye makeup tutorial to achieve the most sparkly and fun look. The first step is to apply an eyelid primer so that your shadows stay on all night. Here I used the Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion.

For step two you want to dip your brush into a light color such as a beige or peach. You’ll want to apply this color all over your eyelid and all the way up to your eyebrow. This will create a base for when you need to apply the other eyeshadow colors. I used the Jawbreaker Pallette and shade Virgin.

For step three use a slightly darker shade such as a brown or a deeper shade of another color to put in the crease of your eye. This will start to add dimension to your eye. Once you add the preferred amount make sure to blend the eyeshadow out and up to the eyebrow bone for a seamless look. I used the Naked Urban Decay Ultraviolet palette with the shade Hacked.

For step four take a concealer and “cut the crease” which means to apply the concealer all over your lid and up a little past your crease. This is preparing the skin for the glittery shadows we will be using next. After putting down the concealer make sure to dab translucent powder all over the concealed area. I used the NYX HD Photogenic Concealer Wand.

For step five grab a light shimmery shadow or creme shadow and apply that over the concealed area. Make sure to keep your eyelid flat as you apply the shadow so that the product dries smoothly. Here I used the Ciate Londen Eye Lustre Creme Eyeshadow.

Step six is optional but if you want some extra shine to your eye look then I recommend adding this in. Take a glitter gel and get a good amount on a small-sized flat brush. Make sure to apply this gel evenly all over the shimmery eyeshadow you just put on. I used the Colourpop Glitter Gel in the shade Moon Prism Power.

Once you have put on the glitter gel this is what it should look like. Make sure to smooth out any clumps and keep eyes flat so that the product can dry properly.

For step eight curl eyelashes if needed and apply a thin layer of mascara to prep for putting on fake eyelashes in the next step. This step is needed so that the fake eyelashes have something to hold onto once applied. Make sure the mascara is dry before applying the fake eyelashes. The mascara I used was Maybelline New York Falsies Waterproof.

Step nine you can apply fake eyelashes if need be. Make sure to cut lashes down to your correct eye length and apply eyelash glue to the band of the lash. Let the glue dry a little and apply once tacky. I used the Kiss Lash Couture Faux Mink Collection.
