Dating on Valentine’s Day: COVID-19 edition

With Valentine’s Day coming up it is important to recognize that COVID-19 is still overwhelmingly present in the world. However, that does not have to stop you from celebrating. One way to celebrate is through making cards for your loved ones. Just get some construction paper and start crafting.

With Valentine’s Day coming up it is important to recognize that COVID-19 is still overwhelmingly present in the world. However, that does not have to stop you from celebrating. One way to celebrate is through making cards for your loved ones. Just get some construction paper and start crafting.
If trying to remain in contact indirectly from your loved ones make sure to mail your cards within an appropriate time so they get there before or a little after Valentine’s day.
If you are looking for that perfect gift pull out that guitar and notepad. Music or poetry is always a thoughtful gift when it comes from someone you care for.
People often say you can never usually go wrong with flowers. If all other gifts fail, a boutique or just a single rose is always a good idea to show your sentiment is real.
With COVID-19 running rampant in our society college students are often turning to online dating sites to find their Valentine this year. However, if actually going out with a person from an online site make sure to take proper precautions.
With all the love in the air it is easy to forget the importance of remaining safe. Do not forget the CDC still recommends people stay six feet apart and wear masks to avoid contracting COVID-19. Maybe a virtual date would be the best choice for some right now.
If out is not an easy choice for this Valentine’s day. Some would much rather choose to simply eat inside the comfort of their own home during these crazy times. For this, you could either get take-out from a local restaurant or have a fun cooking night, maybe even a virtual dinner date.
There is also nothing wrong with just taking a day for yourself during this time! Self-care is uber important, so make sure that you are not just thinking of other people on this day but, giving yourself some love too.
