This department is a highly engaged group. They have several established faculty and several newer faculty. They have members who bring speakers to campus and organize voter engagement events, folks who are interested in professional learning, development and teaching and learning, and creating a robust and interesting curriculum for students. Starting in fall 24, Andrea Vieux will be Chair, and Tai Edwards will be Vice Chair.
