1978 – Intramural Sports available and organized by Glen Moser. 4 brochures in box 1 with pictures of tennis, volleyball, basketball, racquetball, fencing and golf. Sports to participate in included tennis singles and doubles, 6-man football, racquetball singles and doubles, cross country, co-ed volleyball, 3-man basketball half court, century club, co-ed bowling, 5-man basketball, Free throw contest, table tennis men and women, co-ed softball, golf men and women.
March 13-18, 1978 – 4th NJCAA Women’s Basketball National Championship Tournament held at JCCC.
September 11, 1978 – Volleyball Match at Allen County, Sunflower stated as mascot and colors as Brown and Yellow
November 4, 1978 – Men’s Soccer team places second in Region VI with loss to St Johns 4-2
