January 2, 2001 – JCCC opens an expansion to the Gymnasium, housing a classroom and locker rooms needed for physical education classes, a larger fitness center, a six-lane track, and basketball and volleyball courts. March 2001- JCCC Women’s Basketball National Division II, Head Coach Debbie Carrier 9th place and received the Betty Jo Graber Sportsmanship Award.
March 2001 – JCCC Women’s Basketball National Division II, Head Coach Debbie Carrier 5th place. Led by Casey Ellis and Kristin Crites.
March 2001- Head Coach Mike Jeffers led the Cavaliers to national titles in 2001, earning NJCAA Coach of the Year honors
