Women’s Tennis have appeared in 25 national tournaments, placing among the country’s top-20 programs each time, and have 12 top-10 finishes at nationals at the Division I and Division II levels, including a best finish of third place in 1999. His women’s program also captured 11 Jayhawk Conference and Region VI championships, including three straight from 1995 to 1997. Dominating with 11 conference championships and 11 Region VI titles the Women’s Tennis team under Glen Moser as the head coach until the retirement of the sport in 2017.

One of the most accomplished Women’s Tennis player is in the JCCC Athletic Hall of Fame, Jamie King Sunkel. At the 1999 NJCAA Championships, Jami King became the first All-American and national champion in JCCC women’s tennis history. King became the first two-time All-American, reaching the finals with teammate Julia Ball at No. 2 doubles in 1999. Her performance helped JCCC to a third-place finish, the highest in program history.
