Mandatory Training Information August 2019

All employees have been enrolled into JCCC’s Mandatory Training.  Look for an email to arrive in your inbox from Johnson County Community College bearing the subject line: SafeColleges Online Training.

See below:

The email will provide you details about how to access the training. It will list the modules that are mandatory to take along with the due date. The instructions will include the website (https://jccc-ks.safecolleges.com/) to access training and ask you to enter your username (employee ID number). This ID number will be included in your email from SafeColleges.

All employees hired on or before September 1, 2019 must complete the training by December 1, 2019 to satisfy the fiscal year requirement.
All employees hired after September 1, 2019 must complete the training programs within 90 days of their hire date to satisfy the fiscal year requirement.

This year’s mandatory training programs (non-discrimination/anti-harassment and technology security) are broken down into four modules:

  • Campus Safety & Ferpa – 32 minutes
  • Discrimination in the Workplace – 14 minutes
  • Email and Messaging Safety – 12 minutes
