Bob McNay, Coordinator CDL Recruitment Outreach, CE Transportation Program
Rachell McAlister, Administrative Assistant, CE Transportation Program – Nominated by Josh Smith
When the college closed as a result of the pandemic, driver training courses were stopped dead in their tracks. Yet the creative minds in the Transportation program got to work on finding safe ways using frequent cleaning procedures and identified the PPE so driver training could resume. The team was able to submit their plan to the incident response team which was supported by state and county officials for Truck Driver Training, deemed as training of essential workers to safely resume on April 25 which has graduated 6 new Truck Drivers.
Jeff Kosko, Ed Tech – Nominated by Omar Conrad
Jeff Kosko helped me many times this semester, to make the transition from face-to-face to online teaching (which I had never done). For example, he spent an hour on the phone with me one day over Spring Break, just helping me understand the Quizzes function on Canvas. And, he made time for me in his office, all 3 days before Spring Break. He was awesome.
Becky Sears, JCAE Computer Lab Instructor – Nominated by Leslie Dystra
Becky Sears has supported our students, staff and leadership team throughout the COVID-19 face-to-face class closures. Becky brings technology experience and innovation to our program which is helping to move us forward and expand our service to our students. Becky is a wonderful researcher and is not afraid to jump in and try to new things to support students and staff.

Ashley Hunter, Supervisor Bookstore Floor
Joseph Daniel, Supervisor Bookstore Floor
Susan Wagner, Supervisor Bookstore Warehouse
Alanna McCarthy, Administrative Assistant Bookstore
Anna Milewska, Senior Buyer Bookstore – Nominated by Gayle Callahan
The Bookstore leadership and all the staff should be commended for their innovation and flexibility. In recent weeks they have 1) moved buyback and rental returns to curbside service 2) worked with, IT, Financial Aid, Bursar and Student Activities to plan for online summer textbooks sales and rentals through ID card and Third Party vouchers and 3) are working with faculty and the Bursar area to ensure students are not charged for book rental non-returns until after their spring courses are completed. All these initiatives have multiple complexities and require coordination and communication with many areas. Great work coming up with solutions!
